Worship and Creative Arts Pastor

Job Description:
The Worship and Creative Arts Pastor will be responsible for the execution of all creative and musical elements in our worship service. This person is to uphold them self to a high standard of both spiritual and musical excellence to ensure that the spiritually authentic atmosphere of the Oak Hills Church Worship DNA is maintained across all services and activities. As a pastor, this person’s role is to encourage, challenge and help others grow spiritually.
Job Classification: Full Time or Part Time
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting, training, and maintaining a volunteer worship team.

Instilling a standard of excellence and a spiritual intensity in the worship team.

Planning of musical elements for weekly services.

Overseeing the operation of musical equipment (drums, keyboards, etc.)

Scheduling worship volunteers through Planning Center.

Directing the musical execution of weekly services.

Directing the band in worship rehearsal.

Overseeing our A/V Coordinator

Creating/maintaining a fun, flexible, and worshipful culture within the band.

Building a Creative Arts Ministry Team that oversees the graphics/video/photography/media of OHC.

Overseeing the production of all media that will be shown during service (Video, worship slides, sermon slides, etc)

Being available for pastoral ministry as needed.

Creating/maintaining a fun, flexible, and worshipful culture within the band.

Assisting the Lead Pastor in creating a healthy church culture.

Meet weekly with our Lead Pastor to pray for and discuss our Worship and Creative Arts Ministries.

Attend Monthly Staff Meetings.
