George and Meredith Shafer

SFC George Shafer (Ret.) and Meredith Shafer, J.D. are co-founders and full time CEO’s of STORM: Strategic Treatment Options & Recovery Ministries. This nonprofit was born out of George and Meredith’s own addiction crisis, and now they offer hope and a next step to the one still in addiction and their families. George and Meredith have a radio show on Mondays at noon, CST on Crossover Radio and have been named as Chaplains specializing in addiction recovery for the Oklahoma City Police Department. They also have a podcast called “Chemical Conversations” available on SoundCloud, Podbean, and iTunes. George has authored a chapter in an upcoming produced by Books By Vets called Red Dirt Veterans, and Meredith has written two books, the latest, Mad Cow: A PTSD Love Story, which is their testimony through addiction. They live in Edmond, OK with their 4 children and service dog Charlie.

Jonathan Baker of The Grove Community Church

Jon Baker is the Lead Pastor of Grove Community Church in Edmond, OK. 

 

He has been married to his High School sweetheart Sarah for eight years. They have three children, Kamryn (7), Andi (4), and Jed (1). 

 

He launched Grove Community Church in January of 2018 and humbled to see all what God has done in just one year. He is passionate about preaching the Gospel and allowing it to transform every area of our lives. He champions the ongoing ethic of confession and repentance leading us to embrace our brokenness and cling to the cross of Jesus Christ.

Ashley Engle of the Well Church

Ashley Engle is the Associate Pastor of the Well Church in Edmond, OK. Ashley has been married to her husband Jeff for 16 years. They have have 3 kids - Harrison (10), Asher (7) and Hope (5). Ashley works with OVRFLW youth, coordinates Home churches, outreach, the If Gathering and many other aspects of the Well. She also attends Denver Seminary and is pursuing a Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies.
